Rockland County Youth Bureau - Youth Employment Program

Applications are now available for the Youth Employment Program and T.E.E.N Works, our PAID Summer Job Training Program! Rockland County youth ages 14-24 are encouraged to apply to gain valuable work experience and training.


Rockland Conservation & Service Corps

Applications are now available for Rockland Conservation & Service Corps Summer Program! Corps members are paid a stipend to perform a variety of outdoor, environmental, community service projects throughout the county. Upon successful completion of service Corps members receive an education award in the amount of $1,342.86.


Since 1974, the Rockland County Youth Bureau has been a community resource dedicated to an active and assertive process of creating the social conditions that promote the well being of children, youth and families. The Youth Bureau is a public planning, funding, advocacy and coordinating agency for youth and family programs in the County of Rockland. It is responsible for advocating on behalf of all children and youth, maintaining current information on youth needs, promoting Positive Youth Development Principles & Philosophy, and allocating state funds for youth and family programs. The Rockland County Youth Employment Program (YEP), including T.E.E.N. Works, and the Rockland Conservation & Service Corps are the two direct service programs offered by the Youth Bureau.

The Youth Bureau's vision is to enrich the lives of all children, youth and families by promoting an array of positive youth development services, opportunities and supports.
