What are Friday Projects?

Our crew is trained and ready to work with you!

On Fridays, the Conservation Corps works together on full day environmental, conservation, and/or historical service project located within the Rockland region.

Our hard-working Corps Members have accomplished many successful community projects over the years, including invasive species removal, trail building and maintenance, habitat restoration, tree planting, trash clean ups, and more!

Educational, municipal, or non-profit organizations can apply to mobilize our 20 – 25 Corps Members to take on a project that will make a tangible impact on our community.

RCSC Provides

• Project planning in partnership with host site
• 20 – 25 people, ready to work for 8 hours and supported by RCSC supervisors
• Basic tools, personal protective equipment, and first aid supplies (depending on what is needed and available)
• Enthusiasm!

Host Organization Provides

• Full planning support and collaboration on Friday project
• Specialized tools, materials, and project supplies as necessary
• Technical support as necessary
• Supervision and mentoring of Corps Members throughout project day.
• Enthusiasm!

Friday Project applications for the 2023 service year are being accepted until May of 2023, or until all dates are spoken for.
