Nyack Memorial Day Parade, Ceremony and Celebration

No future dates have been scheduled.

The American Legion Nyack Post 310 and VFW Post 9215 in conjunction with the Village of Nyack will be holding its annual Memorial Day Parade to remember and honor all those who served in our Armed Forces and paid the ultimate sacrifice while serving their nation. This year's Grand Marshall will be SGM (Ret) USA Venis Knight, a Nyack resident who served over thirty years of active military duty including tours in Korea and Vietnam. The guest speaker will be Vietnam Veteran Alan Dagistino, President of the Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA), Rockland Chapter 333, 2017-2018.

The parade will step-off at 11 AM from Artopee Way, heading North on Franklin Street, East on Main Street, South on Broadway, West on Depew and ending in Memorial Park. Immediately following the parade, there will be a ceremony in Memorial Park followed by a celebration with festivities including live music by the "Power Tones" band. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy what we hope will be a beautiful day. Food and drink will also be available.

If it rains, the event will take place at the Nyack Center, located at 58 Depew Ave., Nyack NY.
