A note from County Executive Ed Day:
There's been a lot of talk about the Sain Building and the plan to sell it to a developer who wants to build housing for seniors.
I'm convinced it's a good plan for the taxpayers of Rockland County as well as the residents of Clarkstown.
Some people are claiming that we haven't done our homework – that there's not enough facts for the county to move forward.
You can decide for yourself.
Here are just some of the most recent documents detailing the facts about this plan. All of this information has already been provided to the County Legislature.
