This is a content block with a border around it.

To add a border:

Put your page in editing mode, click on the content block and choose Design. On the Border tab, select the Style, Width, Direction and Color and click Save.

This is another content block with a different border.

Margins of 25 pixels have been applied to this content block. You can add margins with or without using a border. Applying margins increases the white space around the outside of the content block.

To add margins:

Put your page in editing mode, click on the content block and choose Design. On the Spacing tab, enter top, botton, left and/or right margins and click Save.

This content block has padding applied. Padding can be used with or without a border. Applying padding increases the white space between the text and the inside edges of the content block.

To apply padding:

Put the page in edit mode and click on an existing content block. Click on Design, go to the Spacing tab, and enter values (in pixels) for top, bottom, left and right padding. The padding in this example is 5 pixels.

This content block DOES NOT have padding applied so the text is too close to the black decorative border.

This content block has a border applied to the left side only. When applying a border, you can apply a full border or just apply it to the left, right, top or bottom of the content block.

The block also has padding of 10 pixels applied to the left side of the text.
