The Rockland County Department of Public Transportation oversees public transportation needs for Rockland County. Our fleet of Transport of Rockland (TOR) and TAPPAN ZEExpress (TZx) buses provide more than 3,500,000 rides a year. Our TRIPS Paratransit buses provide more than 80,000 rides each year.
Our mission is to provide safe, courteous, efficient multi-modal public transportation services to meet the needs of the people of Rockland County – primarily through our TOR, TZx and TRIPS bus systems – but also through effective partnerships with private, municipal and regional mass transit operators and agencies.
Our website has all the information you need to get to, from, and around Rockland County by bus, train, ferry, air, car, and bicycle.
