Shop for produce (and more!) at Rockland's Farmers' Markets

NEW CITY, NY - - Want fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables, picked at the peak of flavor and packed with vitamins and minerals? If your answer is yes, Rockland County Executive Ed Day and County Health Commissioner Dr. Patricia Schnabel Ruppert suggest you shop at one (or more!) of the many Farmers' Markets in Rockland:

Clarkstown Farmers' Market, located at 131 Germonds Road, in West Nyack
Open on Saturdays, from 9 am – 1 pm, until October 28

Haverstraw Farmers' Market, located at Maple Avenue and New Main Street
Open on Sundays, from 9 am – 1 pm, until October 29

Do you qualify for assistance? To find out if you're eligible for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) call 364-2577. WIC Farmers' Market checks are accepted at approved Farmers' Markets. For information on Senior Coupons, call 364-2110. Ask your farmer if they take SNAP (EBT) and/or WIC Vegetable & Fruit checks. Don't forget to use your Farmers' Market checks by November 30, 2017.
