Older Adults

We offer programs and services to promote senior health and fitness:

Fall Prevention Program can help you learn to reduce your fear and risk of falling, increase your activity levels, and learn simple exercises to increase strength and balance.

Living Well with Chronic Disease Program can help you learn how to better manage your long-term health problems and lead an active, full life.

Living Well with Diabetes Program can help you learn simple ways to take good care of yourself and manage your diabetes.

Health Ease workshops focus on these different topics: fall prevention, heart health, osteoporosis, medication safety, nutrition, keeping your mind sharp, and moving to keep fit.  Selected workshops or the entire series can be scheduled at your faith or community organization.

Cancer Awareness and Education Program provides information about reducing your risk of cancer, and referrals to local services, including free cancer screening programs.

Flu Clinic provides flu vaccines to people ages nine and older, and is usually held September - January.
