COVID-19 2nd DOSE VACCINATION CLINIC RESCHEDULED

New City, NY, - The Rockland County Department of Health announces that the COVID-19 2nd dose vaccination clinic scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, February 9, 2021, from 1 PM – 5 PM has been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 10, 2021, from 1 PM – 5 PM due to the weather.

If you have a 2nd dose appointment for Tuesday to be vaccinated at Rockland County Department of Health clinic, you will receive a COVID-19 vaccine on Wednesday at the same time as your original appointment. No new appointment will be scheduled, and you should come at the same time as your appointment scheduled for Tuesday.

If you are unable to come on Wednesday, please call the County's COVID-19 Hotline at 845-238-1956 to reschedule as you will need to come for your second dose as soon as possible.

The latest forecast from the U.S. National Weather Service has snow beginning early Tuesday morning continuing throughout the day with a potential for several inches of snow to accumulate.

"While we want to get residents fully vaccinated as quickly as possible, we must do so in as safe a way as possible," said County Health Commissioner Dr. Patricia Schnabel Ruppert. "We apologize for the inconvenience but want to protect those coming to be vaccinated as well as our staff during what could be a significant winter storm."
