Grants Available Through The Rockland County Youth Bureau

Interested Nonprofit and Municipal Agencies Must Submit a Concept Paper

NEW CITY, NY -- County Executive Ed Day today announced that the Rockland County Youth Bureau will be in initiating its Request For Proposal (RFP) process for all not-for profit and municipal agencies who wish to apply for 2019 Youth Development Program (YDP) funding. The Youth Bureau administers NYS Office of Children & Family Services (OCFS) YDP funding to promote positive youth development, increase youth developmental assets and decrease juvenile delinquency through direct service to young people.

TO APPLY: The Youth Bureau will be accepting emailed Concept Papers through 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 19th, 2018. Only electronic submissions will be accepted. Non-profit and municipal agencies can only apply for programs that provide direct services to young people 0-21 years of age. Each Concept Paper will be reviewed by the Allocations Committee of the Youth Bureau Board of Directors. Notification will be made no later than November 7th to those agencies that will be asked to submit a full RFP.
