ROCKLAND COUNTY EXECUTIVE ED DAY TODAY ISSUED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT ON THE LEGISLATURE'S APPROVAL OF NEW LABOR CONTRACTS WITH THE ROCKLAND COUNTY CIVIL SERVICE EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION (CSEA) AND THE ROCKLAND ASSOCIATION OF MANAGEMENT (RAM)

I am grateful that both CSEA and RAM have ratified fair and responsible agreements that keep our county on a sustainable fiscal path. The contracts mean that our dedicated workforce will receive the fair wages and benefits they need and deserve, while ensuring Rockland County's taxpayers are protected. Now that the Legislature has approved the resolutions, I will sign them.
