Interested Nonprofit Agencies Must Submit a Concept Paper
NEW CITY, NY — County Executive Ed Day today announced that the Rockland County Youth Bureau will be in initiating its Request For Proposal (RFP) process for all not-for profit and municipal agencies who wish to apply for 2017 Youth Development Program (YDP) funding.
The Youth Bureau administers NYS Office of Children & Family Services (OCFS) YDP funding to promote positive youth development, increase youth develop0mental assets and decrease juvenile delinquency.
TO APPLY: The Youth Bureau will be accepting emailed Concept Papers thru 3:00 p.m. on Thursday October 13th. Only electronic submissions will be accepted.
Non-profit and municipal agencies can only apply for programs that provide direct services to young people 0-21 years of age. Each Concept Paper will be reviewed by the Allocations Committee of the Youth Bureau Board of Directors. Notification will be made no later than November 3rd to those agencies that will be asked to submit a full RFP.
