STATEMENT OF ROCKLAND COUNTY EXECUTIVE ED DAY ON LEGISLATURE'S ADOPTION OF 2016 ROCKLAND COUNTY BUDGET

The Legislature's vote amending and adopting the 2016 Executive Budget demonstrates that this is a solid, lean fiscal plan.  This amended Budget and the process leading to last night's vote shows the desire of most legislators to cooperate in a bi-partisan manner that is free of acrimony, while restoring Rockland County's financial stability.
