NEW CITY, NY -- County Executive Ed Day, the Rockland County Youth Bureau and its Board of Directors will present 2015 Service Awards to deserving individuals at the 35th Annual Youth Forum and Awards Dinner on Thursday, May 14th, 2015 at the Nyack Seaport. The event begins at 6:30 p.m.
"Many thanks to this year's honorees for their dedication to our communities and to all the residents of Rockland County," said Day. "These individuals are true role models to both young and old."
This year's event holds special significance, as it marks the Youth Forum's 35th anniversary. The dinner will be dedicated to "Celebrating Our Inner Child!"
The following individuals will be recognized:
The Joseph A. Myers Service to Youth Award: The recipients of this year's award are Kobi Axelrod, a senior at Clarkstown South High School and Kelly Houlihan, a senior at Albertus Magnus High School. The Youth Forum Business Award will be presented to Lynch's Restaurant of Stony Point for demonstrating an active role in the promotion and support of children, youth and families in Rockland County.
