YOUTH BUREAU ANNOUNCES 2015 YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FUNDING

Concept Papers must be e-mailed by 5:00 p.m., Friday, October 31, 2014

NEW CITY, NY  --  The Rockland County Youth Bureau announces that until 5:00 PM Friday, October 31, it will accept e-mailed Concept Papers for organizations and municipalities who wish to be eligible for, and compete in, a Request for Proposal (RFP) process to apply for 2015 Youth Development Program (YDP) funds.  The Rockland County Youth Bureau administers New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) grant funding to promote positive youth development, increase youth developmental assets and decrease juvenile delinquency.

HOW TO APPLY

The deadline for receipt of the Concept Paper for this competition is 5:00 P.M., Friday, October 31. Only electronic submissions of Concept Papers will be accepted. Each Concept Paper will be reviewed by the Allocations Committee of the Rockland County Youth Bureau Board of Directors to identify projects having the greatest potential for meeting current youth needs.  Agencies will be notified no later than November 25th whether a full proposal will be requested.
