STATEMENT BY ROCKLAND COUNTY EXECUTIVE DAY ON THE LUNAR
NEW YEAR

For people of Asian heritage living in Rockland County and around the world, the Lunar New Year is a time to reflect on the past and look with hope toward the future. It is also a time to recognize good fortune, pay homage to ancestors and celebrate with family, friends and the community.

This year, we enter the Year of the Horse, which is said to bring prosperity and wealth. As Rockland County Executive, I extend my best wishes, peace and joy to those celebrating the Lunar New Year.
