Video Entries Now Being Accepted For Annual Youth Talent Showcase – Top 20 To Perform At YouthFest

NEW CITY, NY -- Everybody's got a talent.  What's yours?  The Rockland County Youth Bureau is now accepting entries for its annual "Rockland's Youth Got Talent" showcase!

The competition is open to Rockland County residents 18 and younger.  Contestant hopefuls are encouraged to submit a video of their talent to sing, dance, act, play a musical instrument or creatively entertain.

Talent video submissions will be accepted through February 1, 2015 online at

Please keep in mind:

  • Submitted videos must be 20 seconds or less
  • All contestant hopefuls must be 18 or under
  • All participants must be residents of Rockland County

The top 40 entries selected by the YouthFest Committee will be available for viewing and voting by the public between February 15th and March 1st.  The top 20 finalists will be announced on March 1st and invited to perform at YouthFest on Sunday, March 15th.

The Committee's criteria for judging entries will include originality, creativity, appearance, stage presence, vocals, performance quality, musicianship and overall likeability.
