FY 2023 CDBG Applications are now available here

The CDBG program works to supports community development activities to build stronger and more resilient communities. Activities may address needs such as infrastructure, economic development projects, public facilities installation, community centers, housing rehabilitation, public services, clearance/acquisition, microenterprise assistance, code enforcement, homeowner assistance, etc.

CDBG is an important tool for helping local governments tackle serious challenges facing their communities. For example, the County of Rockland has funded infrastructure projects such as sidewalk repairs, road improvements, and updates to public parks. Local not for profits have also received funding for various public services, such as after-school and workplace readiness programs.

The CDBG program has made a difference in the lives of millions of people and their communities across the Nation.

The County receives its HUD funding through a voluntary consortium consisting of participating communities within the County. For the FY2023 funding period the following towns and villages are eligible:
